‘Aurelia’ is a G & J Lines large wooden rocking horse on a safety stand, circa 1925.
Fully restored but now unpainted on her original safety stand, Aurelia has glass eyes, a beautiful real horsehair mane and tail and a fixed top quality leather bridle and saddle. She was restored by Stevenson Bros, so all work was carried out with great skill. She is a large size at 126 cm high and has a lovely smooth rocking action. She dates we believe from around 1925 so is very nearly 100 years old.
A really lovely rocking horse, she has a beautiful friendly face and is fit and ready to ride if you want, but she also can be a family heirloom to be passed along the generations.
