‘Octavia’ is a beautiful ‘Classic Rocking Horses of Thirsk’ Ayres style Classic De Luxe rocking horse on a safety stand, c 2007.
Octavia is a lovely example of a large size dappled rocking horse from the renowned Classic Rocking Horse Company of Thirsk in North Yorkshire. She was bought new 15 years ago and has been owned by the same family since then. She has a removable leather bridle and fixed leather saddle, all in hand dyed Chestnut leather. Her beautiful grey flowing real horsehair mane & tail complement her colours, and she has lifelike glass eyes with her head turned slightly to her right. She has a very friendly face and good proportions, so would be ideal for young riders.
This model is made from top quality materials, so Octavia is a really solid horse and will command any room she is put in. Octavia is truly a lovely horse, and she is fit and ready to ride – just looking for her new home.
