BRONWYN *SOLD*

‘Bronwyn’ is a beautiful Relko rocking horse, made in laminated style which shows off her wood to wonderful effect.

She is a large size horse, with her original real horsehair mane and tail and glass eyes. We have fitted her with brand new top quality removable brown and brass leather tack and she has her makers name etched into the stand. She also has her number ( 3615 ) and date of manufacture ( 1981 ) carved into the crosspiece at the front of her stand, again showing her to be from the Relko Rocking Horse Company, who sold this model in Harrods and other fine retailers.

The stand has been serviced and new brass hats fitted to her runners, then a full wax polish applied to keep it looking good. The horse has been lightly refurbished, the hair washed and again a full wax polish applied all over, so all is in great condition.

Relko were originally located in the UK but moved to New Zealand over 20 years ago. They made their first horse in the early 1970s in England when no one was making wooden rocking horses. The layered muscled effect gives the Relko horse it’s distinctive look which has become a trade mark of the design.

Please be aware these are mostly old horses and as such may show some minor age related characteristics. All the horses however are fully rideable and solid. If you are unsure, please arrange to come and view before purchasing. Viewing is welcomed by appointment.
