‘Cassius’ Stevenson Bros rocking horse, solid mahogany, 1997.
Cassius is a large Stevenson Bros rocking horse 1997, made of solid mahogany. He is
extremely solid and very heavy. Stevenson rocking horses are well known
for being top quality horses and it shows in the quality of his
leatherwork and the detailed carving, especially to his face and eyes.
He even has a jointed bit and the holes on the stirrup leathers are
numbered just like real ones. He has a real horsehair mane and tail and
glass eyes.
