‘Chloe’ is a wonderful 1994 Stevenson Brothers ‘F H Ayres’ Dapple Grey rocking horse on a safety stand.

Produced by Stevenson Brothers when they were asked to reproduce their original designs by the family of F H Ayres (the leading rocking horse makers of the 19th century) this model has finer muscle detail and carving, as well as great features such as her facial details and even a tongue. She has a beautiful real horsehair mane and tail, glass eyes and a friendly face. Her paintwork is in the distinctive Ayres style, which really shows off her extra carving. The extra detail then follows through into her saddlery, where you can see the saddle flaps have superb tooling and design, and she has a snaffle bit, all showing she is a very special horse indeed. Her saddlecloth is in blue suede, and she has a lovely light coloured suede seat.

We have rewaxed all the leatherwork and cleaned the buckles , polished all her brass, cleaned and conditioned her mane and tail, rubbed down and waxed the woodwork on her stand until she looks in great condition again and is now just looking for her new home.
