‘Columbo’ is a wonderful F H Ayres rocking horse on a safety stand.
Circa 1920, he stands proudly with finely carved features and will make a wonderful centerpiece or display in any home.
Columbo has a real horsehair mane and tail, glass eyes, and a fixed leather bridle and saddle with a removable pommel which can be interchanged from side to side. He retains his original paintwork and has had some minor restoration work by Stevenson Bros several years ago, most likely comprising new tack and hair.
From the top English maker, he will grace your home even though he is now around 100 years old.
