ELLIE * SOLD *

‘Ellie’ is a dark wood waxed rocking horse mounted on a safety stand. She was hand-made in Suffolk, circa 1990.

We have given Ellie quite a lot of TLC, she was very dirty and coated in thick varnish when she arrived, we have removed all the varnish from both the horse and stand and sanded and waxed both to uncover the lovely grain of the wood underneath. All metalwork has been rubbed down and repainted and the hinges repolished and oiled.

Ellie’s horse hair mane and tail have been washed and conditioned, her saddle has been removed and re-fitted with new padding and pins and all leatherwork has been hand waxed and polished.

She now looks good as new!

Ellie is a large horse in solid condition and is ready for her next owner to enjoy her, whether as a ridden horse or as a lovely piece of furniture to admire.
