Description
‘Harvey’ is a large dark wood Peverel Rocking Horse mounted on a safety stand.
He has a new quality removable leather saddle and removable bridle with brass detail as his original was broken. He has a real horsehair mane and tail and glass eyes, with a friendly face and good stature all round. Harvey will be a great focal point to any room, and with Peveral Rocking Horses coming from Essex, he is currently only over the border in the next county.
He has a makers plaque on the front of his stand which says;
” Peverel W.Albrook
Reg No CCXXXIII ”
and carved into his underbody is the same number ( CCXXXIII ) so his makers number is 233, and he is on his original stand. In an amazing twist, we also had and sold his brother “Duke” who was a Peverel with the serial number CCXXXII, so Duke was number 232 and Harvey is number 233. You can still see Duke in our “Sold Rocking Horses” section.
Harvey came to us from a private home in Cheshire where he had been since new and is now ready for a new owner to enjoy him.
