‘Hazel’ is a chestnut G & J Lines Brothers rocking horse on a safety stand.
An early 20th Century rocking horse by G & J Lines Brothers, she has glass eyes, an open mouth and original gesso having been restored back to the original chestnut colour, with original brasses and bit, but a replaced harness and saddle due to her age,
Hazel is a stunning medium sized rocking horse and has a beautiful real horsehair mane and tail and a top quality fixed leather bridle with a fixed saddle. She is in wonderful condition and having re-waxed her stand and all her leatherwork she looks like new again.
A really lovely medium rocking horse, she has a friendly face with a lovely white blaze and is fit and ready to ride, or would make a wonderful statement piece in any room. She is sure to find her new home soon.
