Description

‘Isla’ is a beautiful dappled grey rocking horse from the renowned English makers Stevenson Brothers, and is dated as 1994 on her brass plaque.

This model has a lovely medium wood safety stand as well as a well carved head with realistic features. She has a beautiful real horsehair mane and tail, glass eyes and a very friendly face. Unfortunately the sun over time had made her saddle cloth a two – tone shade of green and her fixed saddle was in poor condition and faded on one side, so we have replaced the saddle cloth completely and reworked her saddle to show her at her best again. Her tack is original in tan with a removable bridle and adjustable stirrup leathers, and we have given her some new brass stirrups to show her at her best. 

We have cleaned the stand again, waxed all the leatherwork and cleaned and polished all her original brass metalwork, cleaned and conditioned her mane and tail, rubbed down and waxed the woodwork until she looks in showroom condition again and she is now looking to come and live with you.
