LINCOLN * SOLD *

‘Lincoln’ is a large polished solid hardwood varnished rocking horse mounted on a safety stand. He has a brand new top quality removable leather set of tack with brass metalwork and fulmer bit to his bridle, his saddle is also removable with new stirrup leathers and brass stirrups and a cream numnah. We have retained his original tack which you are welcome to have too if you wish.

Lincoln has a beautiful flowing real horsehair mane and tail and glass eyes, and his head is turned toward his left. He is extra carved and has expression to his face and a curve to his neck. He has a makers plaque on his stand which says he was carved by Robert Mullis of Swindon, a well known maker of horses for many years. 

He is in great condition and the only thing we can find is a very small repair to one ear done some time ago and very well hidden (only found when polishing him) He is fit and ready to ride but will equally make a lovely piece of furniture.

Please be aware these are mostly old horses and as such may show some minor age related characteristics. All the horses however are fully rideable and solid. If you are unsure, please arrange to come and view before purchasing. Viewing welcome by appointment.
