Delphine

‘Delphine’ is a 1991 Stevenson Brothers ‘Line Bros’ Dapple Grey rocking horse on an oak safety stand.

Produced by Stevensons when they were reproducing the designs of Lines Bros (a leading rocking horse maker of the early to mid 1900’s) this model has finer muscle detail and carving to the body, legs and neck, as well as great features such as her facial details and even a tongue. She has pointed and shaped runners, a beautiful real horsehair mane and tail, glass eyes and a friendly face. Her head and neck are turned to her right. She has a fixed saddle and crupper in tan leather, the sides of the saddle showing off the fine tooling details inset into the leather, and a removable bridle also in tan.

We have serviced the stand again, rewaxed all the leatherwork and polished the buckles , cleaned and conditioned her mane and tail, rubbed down and waxed the woodwork until she looks in showroom condition again and is now just looking for her new home.
