Oliver is a Peverel nursery sized hand-carved wooden rocking horse.
His ‘posh name’ is Peverel Stuart and he has his name and serial number
engraved on a plaque on his stand. He was made by Lomas of Chelmsford
around 30 years ago and the ‘Peverel’ horses were sold worldwide,
including from Harrods of London.
Oliver is made from mahogany and is in original condition, which is
very good. He wears his original tack, cleaned, conditioned and
polished.
Oliver is a dainty, pretty horse with a good shape and lovely colour
and would be perfect for a first birthday or Christening gift. As he is a
small size he is also easy to display in your home as a fine piece of
furniture.
His measurements are: length 102cm, height 89cm, width 32cm
