Silver

Silver is a much loved restored bow horse in good condition.

It is with much sadness that I need to sell my beloved rocking horse.

I have been told it is a Lines or Ayres made horse, but I am not sure as my father found him in an old barn in Norfolk in the mid 1950s.

Since he has been in our family’s care he has been renovated 3 times:

Once in the mid 1950s by my father for me, again in the 1980s by my father-in-law for my 2 daughters, and finally I had him renovated professionally – painted, tacked and put on a new rocker in 2015 for my grandchildren.

Unfortunately the saddle has a few scratches thanks to my cats, but apart from that he is in good condition. 

He is much loved by me, but my daughters are not interested in keeping him. I have moved to a smaller house so it is now time to let him go.

Length 210cm
