SupaStuds Arena Stud (20mm)

Designed specifically for use on an artificial surface; also good for muddy conditions.

A large stud – approx. length 20mm (excluding threaded section) with a
12mm square base tapering gradually to a point. The ideal shaped stud to
give grip on an artificial surface (arena). Take care: we do not
recommend this stud for use in front on ponies or horses not used to
large studs – most users use a Polo Stud (SS010) in combination with
this.

SupaStuds are made from British steel that is subjected to a high tech
hardening process which makes the whole stud, not just the tip, stronger
and more hard-wearing than tungsten. This process gives the studs their
blue/black appearance rendering them almost completely rust resistant.

SupaStuds are not self-tapping studs. They have been designed to clean
the hole not to re-thread it.
