‘Thaddeus’ is a beautifully restored extra carved F H Ayres rocking horse on a safety stand.
Fully restored and repainted with a new safety stand, Thaddeus has glass eyes, a beautiful real horsehair mane and tail and new fixed leather bridle and saddle. He is the superior ‘extra-carved’ version and his face has real expression to it. His head is turned to his right, and he has a lovely smooth rocking action. He dates from the early 1900’s (with the exception of his new stand).
A really lovely medium sized rocking horse who looks like new again, so he is fit and ready to ride but he also retains his place as a family heirloom to be passed along the generations.
